Your tasks

  • Drive business development on APAC level for defined target customers, find new business opportunities in APAC region and instil confidence with customers and prospects
  • Own and drive APAC Strategy (task follow up and progress reporting) and develop Vertical Strategy (Products, Geographies and Target Customers)
  • Coordinate and distribute information on development pertaining to vertical (Wins, Opportunities, feedback on companies), report activities in the region to global stakeholder and provide regional and global support with knowledge transfer
  • Provide leadership and guidance to country Business Development teams
  • Solution RFX, negotiate with customer on pricing, discuss solutioning with customer
  • Lead & coordinate multi country bids and strategic bids and supporting on bids with resources and knowledge when requested from country level
  • Proactive business development in order to qualify as an LSP
  • Common business rules - legal coordination, investment application
  • Leverage on existing customers in other regions Instil confidence with customers and prospects
  • Ensure accuracy of CRM-Pipeline
  • Analyse requirements and formulate strategies; Supporting region and product P&L owner to prepare annual budget and monthly management
  • On a regional level to put together an RFQ / RFI for Warehousing for spare parts, finished goods, and distribution.
  • Qualifications :

  • Must have 10-15 years of experience in solutioning warehouses and trucking for any vertical
  • Must have extensive knowledge about Contract Logistics
  • Experience with making strategic business development plans an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to build executive level relationships
  • Able to take initiative, drive change and influence others with sound understanding of commercial implications of solutions proposed, potential areas of risk and methods to limit liabilities.
  • Team leader skills, self-motivated with strong business acumen, contract negotiation skills and capabilities in tender management, support on calculations, and network optimization
  • Willingness to travel frequently
