We are looking for a SeniorClient Service Representative Portfolio Administration (6 months contract) ,based in Singapore.

This role will be responsible for performing multipleclient specific orientated tasks and delivery of service to a variety ofexternal / internal clients and business partners including Sales / Marketing,Portfolio Management, Trading, Performance and Client Services.

The positionwill be primarily responsible for providing client service to these groups forall inquiries as well as account governance / ownership, complex / custom reportingand events support for Institutional Separate Accounts.

In addition, activelymanage relationships with these teams, change / improve processes as servicerequires and proactively managing solutions to client needs due to trends andincreasing customization.

This role involves coordinating back officeoperational endeavors to provide premiere and seamless client service tointernal and external clients and actively managing communication throughoutall spectrums of job.

What are the ongoing responsibilitiesof this position?

  • Account Governance / Ownership
  • Good overallunderstanding of internal / external clients and relationships
  • Takeownership of assigned portfolios on behalf of Franklin Templeton Services (FTS)and monitor daily e-mails to ensure all inquiries are responded with accurateand timely resolution / service to end clients
  • Drive forsolutions by proactively trouble shooting along with collaboration with othervarious key individuals / groups globally
  • Maintenanceof the Global Account Database
  • Adviseportfolio managers and cash management team of any cash movements in clientaccounts on a timely basis
  • Daily / MonthlyReview of performance
  • System / accountvalidation and maintenance oversight
  • Client Service Support
  • Engageinternal / external clients and business partners to access product delivery andpotential process changes
  • Act as aconduit for all inquiries to build strong relationships with internal / externalclients and business partners
  • Act as point of contact on behalf of FTS for all SMA and institutional Separate Account client service related questions / issues and assist in tracking issues through to resolution
  • Provide Management fee support to ensure all fees are collected and posted in the clients’ accounts in a timely manner to meet standards of performance reporting
  • Prepare and participate in client requested ad hoc meetings including Due Diligence meetings
  • Projects Initiatives & Events
  • Actively participate in PA Global Improvement and corporate commitment initiatives, Business Continuity testing, system user enhancement testing and Complex Securities Review meetings
  • Other projects assigned by management.
  • Aid in staff cross-training and procedure manuals
  • Providesupport for on-boarding activities including participating client / custodianmeetings.
  • System / accountmaintenance for changes resulting from events
  • Reporting
  • Deliver requestedcomplex / custom reports
  • ProvidePerformance Reports
  • Track andcompile queries / issues for statistical reporting to management
  • What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance is desired.
  • Minimum three years of financial services experience in middle and / or back office operations. Experience in investment management is highly desired.
  • Sound knowledge of investment industry accounting principles, terminology, financial markets, security types and corporate action types
  • Good presentation skills and ability to interact with all business partners and management
  • Able to work with end users to identify potential issues and high risk items
  • Build and maintain good relationships with clients and business partners
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize own workloads
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Detailed oriented and good analytical skills
  • Ability to resolve queries arising in daily work, maintaining accountability and escalating issues appropriately
  • Able to work under general supervision; refers to policies and practices for guidance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office application, GMAX, Onetis and Advent-Axys
