The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall efficient and effective managementand operation of the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
The AssistantRestaurant Manager is to maintain a complete knowledge of GYG menu items, ingredient andprocedures at all times in order to proactively and promptly deliver the highest level of customerexperience.
In the absence of the Restaurant Managerensure that the restaurant consistently delivershighest quality food quality and customerservice to all customers in accordance with GYGstandards.
Maintain an enthusiastic and energetic approachto enhancing GYG ’ s customer experience.
Respond to and communicate effectively withthe restaurant team in order to deliver the GYGcustomer experience.
Ensure that all menu items are prepared and delivered in accordance with GYG’s Food Recipe and training guides including portioning and quality requirements.
Proven experience in a supervisory / management role in the restaurant / hospitality industryor have successfully completed Assistant Restaurant Manager training modules at GYG.

Willingness and ability to undertake one shift per months in leading kitchen position.
Strong computer / IT acumen including the ability to use Microsoft Office software (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Willingness to learn and develop strong competence in various GYG systems including
Micros (Point of Sale, MyInventory), GOMEX, ROSS (payroll), time clock systems, and VivaGYG!.
