    About the Job

    The Director of Ecommerce Product Management and User Experience is responsible for shaping how the company leverages digital capabilities and customer insights to serve our customers and drive sales.

    You will create world class eCommerce websites - you will use your knowledge in onsite conversions and optimisation to reach set KPI and business goals.

    The Director works to identify and analyze best-in-class digital opportunities, develops and populates a product roadmap to pursue those opportunities.

    The Director is responsible for defining, designing and driving the development and management of the features and functionality of our Digital experiences.

    This extremely unique and cross-functional position achieves results through management of the Product team and UI / UX team and collaboration with key stakeholders from across the brands and business.

    You are part of the Leadership team and responsible for the end to end ownership of our digital projects and eCommerce websites using Shopify Plus.

    To land this role, you must have customer acquisition and conversion-funnel experience in an e-commerce setting, as well as at least some exposure to brand management.

    You’re also up-to-date on best practices around creating sites that take advantage of the virtuous circles created by good habits and good UX.

    You completely understand and can advocate for the customer journey you know the ins and outs of encouraging users to get out their credit cards and become loyal fans of your products.

    Responsibilities :

  • Lead the Product and UI / UX team, the development of the e-Commerce Product and User Experience strategy, as well as monitoring of performance.
  • Build world-class Product Management and User Experience practice (its team, processes and systems)
  • Together with the Head of Product ensure high standard of site integrity and Optimization, Data Compliance and Architecture
  • Own and support the end to end Project delivery - from concept to execution to go live and maintenance for multiple Shopify Plus projects and external system integrations simultaneously
  • Create, plan, schedule and prioritize actionable roadmaps including tracking project milestones, timelines, deliverables, budgets and status reports for all stakeholders
  • Together with the UI / UX team creating and validating the end-to-end customer experience landing pages and the homepage, subscription pages to check-out and payment
  • Analyze, review and implement SEO optimized websites
  • Builds strong working relationships with teams across the organization (Brand, Growth, Operations), to consult on new capabilities and socialize the product management / User Experience team’s priorities to gain alignment on the introduction of new features / products.
  • In conjunction with the brand and growth teams, use data, analytics, testing and research to monitor the customer experience and path to purchase to improve sales (frequency, conversion, average order size) across all devices and provide data expertise to deploy and adapt the strategy for local conditions.
  • Ensures an on-going assessment of industry trends and customer needs by leveraging Academy customer insights, industry research, consumer research, and professional networking.
  • Help foster a culture of continuous learning / test and react / fail fast mentality
  • Requirements :

  • 10+ years in Ecommerce, Marketing and Product Management roles
  • At least 5 years of management experience
  • BA degree in Marketing, Information Systems or similar field as minimum
  • Experience in developing and implementing usability and product management practice
  • Design, implementation and customization of eCommerce / CMS systems (Shopify preferred)
  • Experience with keyword research, SEO techniques (link building) and the behaviors of search engines
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
  • Ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships with internal / external business partners at all levels of the organization
  • Process-driven with proven success on developing processes and procedures, and enforcing them throughout the organization
  • Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects with many moving pieces, weighing priorities effectively
  • Detail-oriented, you don’t miss a beat - are on top of timelines, and notice the small things that matter
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, you get impatient when projects are left without accountability or deadlines are missed.
