Oracles HR Services team is looking for a regional leader for the JAPAC region. Role will be responsible for 30+ operational functions around the “hire to retire” lifecycle for 20+ countries in JAPAC. Team consists of several managers and total org size of 40-60 employees in Singapore and India.
Leading with care and empathy, you will develop efficient and simple processes, systems, policies, and programs. Deliver data that is useful and accurate to create people-related strategies across the business. You manage people data and build project management capability across HR. You ensure Oracle remains protected and compliant in functional areas. You strive to provide employees the resources and support they need to develop and thrive in their roles. .
You will be responsible to achieve business objectives, lead and sponsor multiple complex initiatives across operation functions, systems, and regions. You will be contributing through others to drive implementation of improvement. You will need to exercise sound judgment and business acumen to influence outcomes. Other primary responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, global collaboration, strong project management skills, ability to facilitate, writing and communicating to senior level management. You will work and collaborate globally, standardizing, simplifying, and automating HR operational processes and services.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
7+ years people leadership experience with a progressive track record of success. Setting and managing to goals, performance management, career development, escalation management.
Extensive operational leadership experience. Passionate about operations. Managing to data and metric based decisions, process design and performance, operational reviews, efficiency, effectiveness.
Experience leading multicultural teams (cross countries or cross regions) and liaising with various other teams (business, technical, design, etc.) to achieve objectives
Experience leveraging continuous improvement best practices to identify improvement strategies and innovation. Has lead multiple continuous improvement initiatives by simplifying, standardizing, centralizing, and automating complex processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills - directly and succinctly - across cubicles, organizational boundaries and cultures

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for the development, implementation, administration and budgeting of global HR strategic company initiatives in one or more of the following areas: employment, compensation, benefits, HR operations, employee relations, diversity, immigration and organizational development Manages a professional staff.

Play an important role in leading the HR group as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff. Develop and implement global company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., benefit programs, manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment). Advise managers and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Ensures staffing needs are met in accordance with governmental specifications.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. Successful track record as a generalist and manager. BA/BS degree.
