The Post UWCSEA has a vacancy for July 2020 at its Dover Campus for Outdoor Education Admin Assistant role. Reporting to the Head of Outdoor Education(OE), the admin assistant is responsible for the support and monitoring of the OE programmes at UWCSEA Dover Campus.
Main Responsibilities Maintain and monitor all registers, claims, financial invoices or payments and records of attendance for OE department Organisation for whole grade outdoor recreation excursions.
For example; The Middle School Grade 6, 7, and 8 expeditions to Malaysia and Thailand Liaise with providers and travel agents regarding travel arrangements, dietary / name list and hotel room bookings Coordinate with various internal departments on logistics, finance and facilities for trip budgets / venue bookings, correspond with parents for consent and collect passports copies and dependent’s pass / re-entry permit Proof read and review information to be presented to the UWCSEA community Prepare trip booklets / letters and update UWCSEA trip management software and iPal with trip information Liaise with communications department regarding updates to the college website Work with team members to develop presentations and webinars Attend to general enquiries from teachers, parents and students Adhere to the confidentiality requirement of the College for Data protection Person Specifications Minimum Polytechnic Diploma in any related discipline At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and has a keen interest in outdoor recreation activities Able to work cohesively in a team-based environment as well as independently Excellent English (written and spoken), interpersonal and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, working knowledge of Windows / Mac platform and collaborative software such as google drive, calendar, docs and sheets About Us UWCSEA welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
