We are seeking a highly driven individual to be part of our IT team. Reporting to the Head of Program and Project Management Office, the Principal / Lead IT Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the project management, design, implementation and operational support of all the IT Infrastructures, Applications and Cybersecurity in WRS.

He / she will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure systems health and performance, including proposal to improve system reliability, resiliency, availability and performance.

He / she will also be required to understand and resolve complex business and IT problems with logical and systematic approach to arrive at desirable and sound IT infrastructure architecture and design.

The candidate will evaluate, design, build and manage a robust and secure IT Infrastructure (Datacentres, Servers & Network) to support and drive business goals, and be responsible to provide technical direction, oversight of technical design, effort estimation and delivery of all IT Infrastructure projects.

As the Principal / Lead, he will plan and assess change impact on inter-systems dependencies, investigate, analyse, and evaluate new technologies, including obtaining buy in from senior management in organization's technical objectives.

Additionally, he / she will provide assistance to peers to resolve datacentre, servers, network operational issues, It is fundamental for this candidate to keep abreast of new developments to help define the necessary changes to practice.

Job Requirements :

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology related fields
  • Must have one or more of Architecture Certification (TOGAF, CITA, EACOE, Certified SOA Architect, etc.) and / or Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification in Windows 2008 or above

  • Knowledge of HP or Cisco network and technologies, CCNA(P), CCIE, Linux and Unix
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ working experience in IT Infrastructure (datacentre, servers and network) including design, development, implementation and / or management of enterprise IT infrastructure solution / architecture
  • Experience as an IT Infrastructure Lead or Architect Role preferably in delivering medium to large-scale enterprise, designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions
  • Experience with web technologies and building enterprise architecture roadmaps
  • Knowledge of client-server networking and database management
  • Strong project management experience, IT tender preparation and running of IT tenders
  • Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction and provide hardware recommendations for complex technical issues
  • Experience planning and developing support processes and adhering to best practices
  • Experience of working with technologies such as Nutanix Hyperconverged Architecture & AHV, Azure, MS Active Directory, NAS, cloud platforms, technologies and services would be highly valued
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Domain knowledge in the travel & attractions, hospitality, retail industry and / or financial services is highly beneficial.
