Department overview :
Our Structured Products Group acts primarily for global and regional financial institutions on a full range of transactional, advisory and project-based mandates.
Transactional matters may take the form of over-the-counter, bilateral derivative transactions or securities issuances, or a combination of both.
Advisory matters may include issues of security, insolvency, regulation or capital requirements, amongst others.
Job / role overview :
As a paralegal in the Singapore office, you will be providing support to a global team of lawyers who specialise in advising our clients on their structured investment products business.
Main responsibilities :
Your primary role will be to assist the lawyers in documenting and closing out structured securities issuances.

Essential skills and experience :
You must have at least a second class (lower) bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from a Singapore university or reputable overseas university.
A law degree is not required and previous work experience is not necessary but you must have a strong desire to learn and be able to adapt to working in a very specialised field.
You should possess strong English language skills and be numerate, meticulous, diligent and organised.
You must have a strong sense of responsibility and be trusted to work independently and yet be a team player at the same time.
You must be able to cope with having to perform under stress over long periods of time.
