The VIE - Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting the daily tasks of the Product Managers & Marketing Group Manager.
He / she will have to work with retail, wholesale, communications, CRM, supply chain and HQ teams to ensure that tasks assigned are completed.
Also he / she will be in charge of developping business insights, performance monitoring reports and analysis on the competitive landscape.
The VIE - Marketing Assistant will handle special projects and tasks on an ad-hoc basis.
Overall, the VIE will ensure that tasks are effectively completed for the Marketing department so as to support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Regional planning, reporting and analysis
Update daily sales report with relevant information (best sellers, key product launches, network changes, Exceptional Sales)
Develop new analysis when needed on key occasions (Chinese New Year, Christmas, Boutique closures) for new insights & initiatives
Work with Product Managers on the updates of pricing strategy
Budget (BU / LE) process and input into LIGHT
Monthly reporting and BU / LE
Analyse competition in terms of media investment, networks, and events and identify key opportunities for growth
Update mapping of competitor’s product offering
Communicate and share findings with all relevant departments & boutique teams
Conduct occasional competitor checks & organize visits to competitor’s showcase, events, and exhibitions.
Product Management assistance
Assist Product Managers on daily product management tasks & projects
Update product news with local prices and relevant local competitor information
Update mapping of current in range & novelties collections with local pricing
Partake in coordination of Special orders (NSO) - taking in requests & following up with boutiques for Jewelry requests.
Assist in Ad hoc projects such as SIHH, Post SIHH & Cartier Rendezvous
Update product launch plan and send to internal teams every quarterly
Assist in arranging for the transfers of stocks for events & trainings.
Assist in the compilation and printing of tariff books for SG, MY and Developing Markets. Print and send updated sheets to networks every quarter.
Assist in Marketing Black Book (Updating & Compiling of competitors’ key business indicators)
Assist in Competition survey (Updating and compiling of networks)
Work on Local Singapore & Malaysia surveys
Competitors’ activity (event, launches, social media platform activations)
Masters degree in Business
A first experience in a similar role, ideally in the luxury industry
Strong interpersonal skills to work with several departments and stakeholders
Strong analytical skills
Organization & time management skills
Highly motivated, strong ability to multi-task
Ability to work in an autonomous wasy, show proactivity & attention to details
Familiarity in luxury / retail segment
Eligibility to the VIE Program
Candidates between 18 and 28 years old
Nationals of Member States of the European Economic Area (EAA), who have fulfilled their national service obligations
