Position Summary :

The DRP planner is responsible for managing the supply chain for a portfolio of products which could be :

  • Regional monitor availability and inventory health in a specific geographic region, including input on stocking strategy, handle stuck orders, custom / lot specific orders, and providing feedback to Global planners.
  • Global global responsibility for a portfolio of products, identified by manufacturing site(s). Global planners own LIFR, BO and inventory for their assigned products.
  • To accomplish the above, they will be expected to understand the MRP settings that drive our system automation. A key part of the role involves improving processes by applying analytical skills.

    This will be done while working alongside other internal functions.

    The ability to deal with uncertainty and problem solve independently is a must. Within the wider planning team, they should be considered an expert.

    They should make significant contributions to any assigned projects. The DRP planner should be capable of modifying or creating reports to assist in the execution of their duties.

    Key Objectives :

  • Plan and execute intercompany stock movement.
  • Review stocking strategies and analyze inventory.
  • Manages availability, backorders and surrounding processes.
  • Develop SKU setup procedures and audit planning data.
  • Participates in DRP projects, training and regression testing.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma holder with min 3 years in a supply chain role and overall 5-7 years advanced knowledge in supply, demand or DRP planning.
  • Detailed understanding of material flow, inventory management and distribution planning.
  • Computer skills including Excel (pivot table, vlookup, etc.) and ERP experience, specifically in supply chain planning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work in Microsoft Access
  • APICs certification or equivalent.
  • Prior experience with SAP and / or E1
