This position reports to the SEA Marketing Manager and is responsible for :
Managing marketing activities to enable grow in new and existing market segments with relevant products. Achieve marketing objectives by developing, communicating and implementing marketing plan effectively.
Work with regional sales and support team to generate qualified leads and provide application support to improve sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Improve company brand image and market penetration for respective product group responsibility.
Develop, modify and drive relevant product marketing strategies and tactics plan for product positioning, pricing, channel strategies and promotion planning (4P) that will improve the organization’s competitive position and meet business objectives in short and long-term.
Develop new product launch plans and strategies to achieve new product revenue goals.
Maintain excellent market knowledge of all major prospects and local competitor activities, researching and report on local market opportunities.
Ensure that the business marketing plan is aligned with business objective and take lead in ensuring alignment, communication and implementation of the plan.
Enhance Bio-Rad brand as a life science / Diagnostic company at market place.
Implementation and Execution
Initiate and implement key industry tradeshows, sponsors seminars, promotions, advertisement and workshops as needed to promote a product line (ROI driven).
This includes execution of regular promotion or campaigns and evaluating the output of the program.
Facilitates interactions with selling organizations, plan and execute of major campaigns to generate qualified leads to drive sales growth and profit.
Develop and implement a suitable system and process for capturing, monitoring, analyzing and evaluating market, customer and competitive indicators that will feed sales and marketing decision making.
Manage and drive the growth of all the business units and overall profitability of the division.
Ensure compliance adherence to company policy and guideline.
Coordination and Ambassadorship
Working along with the sales, sales support team and other marketing team members to exchange information on competitors, current market dynamics, 4 Ps, so as to identify and develop new markets for existing product lines.
Provide timely and effective communication with manufacture division to align with global direction and provide regional feedback of local market trends and customer needs.
Regular communication with sales and support team for marketing activities, campaigns follow-up to help increasing selling effectiveness.
Provide monthly reports to Manager.
Technical Knowledge and Training
Identify market opportunities and address different customer segment with right product customer value position.
Research, collect and update on market information including technology trends, competitor activities, local changes.
Work with sales manager and sales support manager to develop effective sales tools and conduct training for the sales team and local channel partners.
Managing the customer journey (build and maintain good rapport with KOL and customers) including leading of focus program such as customer seminars and technical road shows
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum tertiary qualifications in biosciences / biomedical
Marketing / Business qualifications is desirable.
At least 5 years of experience in the respective country / regional life sciences market
At least 3 years of relevant marketing experience, skills and technical and practical knowledge in Life Sciences
Proven ability to prepare, implement and monitor business / marketing plans
Good work knowledge of life science industrial practices
Knowledge of "Sales Process"
