Job Summary :
We are looking for an Application Support Specialist for our client for mission critical applications with Financial Services.
Mandatory Skill-set :
Possess Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System or Information Technology;
At least 2 years of experience working in application support related activities such as incident management, batch rescheduling, performance tuning;
Strong communication skills with a strong sense of urgency and attention to details;
Able to drive / recommend solutions to extended technology teams;
Able to facilitate meetings and lead the technical team in driving investigation of incidents and corrective actions follow-ups;
Adaptive to work in a team and independently.
Desired Skill-set : ITIL Certified;
Familiar with DevOps.
Provide application support for mission critical regional applications;
Actively involved in ensuring the SLAs are achieved;
Governance of Vendor Management activities;
Responsible for change, incident, problem, issue management and escalations;
Working closely with business to establish priorities, analyze requirements, manage risks / issues, research / evaluate options, and implement solutions;
Assisting on-site users in performing user acceptance testing for successful system implementation and support related activities;
To support any other IT assignments needed for a successful roll-out;
To provide production support and provide effective solutions and support production night batch;
Perform health checks, system connectivity, consistency and data integrity.
