From risk, to finance, to people, the leadership team sets the tone and agenda for all areas of the business and is comprised of some of the brightest and most successful people in the business.

About the role

Revolut Singapore is seeking to appoint an ambitious and self-driven Head of Operations to make the company’s operational footprint highly robust, scalable, and cost efficient, as the company continues to rapidly grow its customer base.

This role will be a key part of the Leadership Team at Revolut Singapore, reporting directly to the Singapore CEO.

You'll be responsible for :

  • Build and optimise scalable processes to prepare Revolut’s Singapore Operations for hyper growth
  • Lead and execute (end-to-end) roadmap projects
  • Strategy : explore and define which projects the team should prioritise, and set a timeline to reach goals quickly
  • Product improvement : proactively search for new features to provide a seamless customer experience
  • Manage critical vendor relationships and build performance tracking systems
  • Develop strategic supply chain partnerships and negotiate commercial terms
  • Responsible for the oversight of outsourced activities to Revolut affiliates, oversight of any sub-outsourcing and other third party service providers, ensuring duties are administered in accordance with the respective regulatory requirements and internal policies, processes and procedures and agreed Service Level Agreements
  • What you need to achieve

  • Work with the SG CEO and the Executive Team to scale up SG operations for future expansion while optimizing the current operational processes
  • Build and maintain a team of A-players who have the right attitude, are proactive, self sufficient, intellectually strong, hungry, humble and who have the potential to be promoted rapidly
  • Ensure strong a) operational service delivery and b) technology service delivery for customers in line with entity's KPIs & KRIs
  • Ensure appropriate contracts, including SLAs & pricing framework are in place and ensure appropriate framework is in place to manage ongoing changes / new demand to match business requirements
  • Ensure appropriate governance, controls and assurance is in place to monitor service delivery, and relevant risks, and comply with relevant regulatory guidance, and to resolve issues where they arise
  • Ensure the right vendors are in place for the territory and that the vendor relationships are well governed and strong
  • Develop strong relationship with Group teams with regard to all outsourced and in-house operational and technology activity
  • Develop and maintain appropriate external relationships, with vendors, regulators and other stakeholders
  • Ensure positive contribution to, and outcomes from, local Exco.
  • Ensure Exco is positioned as the cultural role model for the company in all aspects of the company’s business.
  • What skills you'll need

  • Proven competency in executive position with a focus in operations at a successful high-growth fintech, financial services or financial services consulting company
  • Demonstrated capacity to drive strategy with data-driven decisions
  • Deep understanding of high growth consumer products and customer needs in financial services, cards or payments
  • Strong empathy for business customers and an unwillingness to compromise on user-centered design of processes
  • You have +10 years experience in a similar position and have led a regional team for a high growth company before, or a track record of rapid promotion towards a similar role
  • You have a solid track record of achievement
  • You can break complex problems into smaller ones and enjoy working with data to facilitate your work
  • You take ownership, and get things done
  • You love solving problems

  • You are curious by nature and interested in making an impact
  • You can make a good business case and convince people to help you execute
  • Are (or rapidly become) highly conversant with Confluence and Jira
