Job Duties & responsibilities
He / She should manage production support for Credit card applications
Own the responsibility of performing production support activities, incident management tracking & service improvement
Manage major incidents, Coordination incident management, problem management, Infra teams & Preparing Major Incident report
He / She should troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate complex incidents and deep underlying issues, Performance analysis and fine tuning of real time and batch systems.
Perform deep-dive analysis for all major incidents, coordinating with all support teams, Infra teams to identify root cause in both Application and Infrastructure areas.
Work on service improvement plan, monitoring, process improvement and automation
Follow Major Change management process to make sure no critical incidents reported during weekend cutover activities
Perform Capacity Monitoring, Server Patching (Production environment)
Coordinate Bank wide DR , BCP coordination / scheduling
He / She should work in shifts if required or support on call basis when there are critical incident
He / She should have Java development (banking domain) experience for minimum 5-6 years.
He / She should overall 10-12 of IT development & production support experience
He / She should have knowledge of overall credit card flow & surrounding interface applications
He / She should have strong communication & presentation skills
He / She should have min 3-4 years of experience in managing 24 / 7 production support team (L2, L2, L3) in Banking domain or credit card domain
He / She should have Software Development Life Cycle knowledge on waterfall and Agile methodology.
