MTU Asia, part of the Rolls-Royce Group, is now hiring a Business Financial Controller to be based at our office in 10 Tukang Innovation Drive.

This position will be pivotal in managing the Financial Planning and Analysis of our complex business and will be liasing closely with different geographies globally.

You will also be expected to drive continuous improvement processes such as the automation of finance operations.

  • General Responsible for the Sales for MTU ONSITE Gas Power Systems products and solutions in ASEAN Countries, which has the target to enable sustainable growth of the business
  • Sales Matters Reach an agreement of the business targets for all MTU ONSITE Energy Gas Power Systems products and solutions with internal and external partners Reaching the business targets for the sales of Gas Power Systems products and solutions Definition and follow up of the business targets together with the distributors and partners Actively promoting the MTU ONSITE Energy Gas Power Systems products and solutions Business & market development, competitive analysis, generation of leads and positioning of MTU technology Execute on defined growth measures, country strategy, key deals, life cycle analysis and channel management Working closely with the subsidiaries, distributors, partners, etc.
  • in the acquisition and development of new customer and new business fields for MTU ONSITE Energy Gas Power products and solutions Support network management, sales engineering, order management, controlling, R&D by providing necessary information Prepare respectively market strategic decisions to grow the business in the associated countries within the framework of the responsibility in close cooperation with the necessary internal and external partners Participation in preparation and execution of business review meetings Involvement in negotiations of major contracts Provides and maintains the sales information (C4C, market data, price levels, technical requirements, etc.

    Providing input information for inventory planning (MRF) Clarify customer?s specifications / needs. Discuss solutions / limits of scope of supply.

    Provides / coordinates replies to the technical and commercial inquiries with Application Personnel. Provides comprehensive quotations incl.

    technical specs and scope of supply for customer. Optimizing scope, competiveness and margin potential.

    Follow up of the quotations and orders

    Prepare and realize claims Prepares sales presentations.

  • Application Engineering Matters Provides the specification / requirements to the application team Analyze the compliance of the proposal from the application team with the requirements from customer Uses the computerized engineering tools / database and technical library information and factory standards for the sales work.
  • Participate in technical presentations and training. Liaises with relevant departments for stock items and other equipment.

  • Order Processing Follow up the order with customer and internal departments, suppliers and contractors till all contractual requirements are fulfilled.
  • Follow up the project schedule Follow up the order management according to the procedures.

  • Other Matters Updates himself with the technical developments and with training. Travels overseas on business, when required.
  • Special assignment from time to time

    Education level Qualifications

  • University / college studies in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
  • Good regional technical and sales experience (min. 8 years) in gas engine / generator industry, or power station business.
  • Strong sales track record and leadership
  • Understanding of Asian cultures, business practices and distribution network model
  • Knowledge in Gas power generation market (ASEAN Countries)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English
