Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS) is the holding company of the award-winning attractions Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, River Safari and Singapore Zoo.

WRS is dedicated to the management of world-class leisure attractions that foster conservation and research while educating visitors about animals and their habitats.

Come 2024, we will add a new Bird Park, a Rainforest Park, nature themed indoor attraction and Eco-resort as part of our Mandai rejuvenation plan.

Reporting to the Group Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer, the candidate will develop a world-class product development and innovation platform setting the product vision, strategy and roadmap, targeting families with kids.

The end goal is to transform our engagement with families globally, through the development of a suite of digital and phygital consumer products that will delight families in and beyond our wildlife parks, to fulfil our Planet, People

and Performance goals.

Operating as an internal start up, the candidate will drive the product vision, product development and management to build and launch delightful customer-centric experiences and product features through a lean operating model.

He / she will lead commercialization opportunities to drive significant mass product adoption globally, lead the strategic planning and prioritisation of product capital spend against budget, and build partnerships with corporates or start-ups with an accelerator model.

The individual will work with the early team(s) and build up capabilities in new product development and innovation, and establish product governance and Key Performance Indicators to demonstrate product / market and channel / product fit.

Manage Product Portfolio

The candidate will own the cradle to grave execution of the consumer product portfolio and deployment to market, working collaboratively with cross functional team members.

  • He / she is expected to develop sandbox and operating model to gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, and A / B testing;
  • Design, monitor and report on product KPIs. He / she will continue to evolve existing and develop new products based on desirability, viability and feasibility, whilst experimenting to discover the business models.

    He / she will also ensure overall product portfolio risks and dependencies are clearly managed and communicated and manage multiple stakeholder requirements and product prioritization.

    Lead and inspire

    The candidate will grow and lead a talented consumer product team, developing the careers and capabilities of all team members.

    He / she will establish a high performing culture emphasising innovation, growth, and development. In addition, he / she will champion product vision, motivate and inspire team members, stakeholders and partners to deliver exceptional outcomes, identify, validate and manage collaboration with 3rd party services and resources where required.

    The candidate will also represent product(s) internally and externally to commercial partners and investors.

    Desired Background

  • 15+ years of digital product management and development, ideally in a start-up or new product environment
  • Track record of creating and scaling products from scratch, and various phases of leading a start up
  • Extensive experience with product management, Agile development, product launches, scaling, and change management
  • Proven success in managing cross-disciplinary teams (product, design, engineering and go-to-market)
  • Leadership experience in communicating product expectations at the executive level
  • Creative problem solver who has is able to amplify the impact of lean resources
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence through persuasive verbal and written communication
