About the role
To fuel our growth objective in the Asia Pacific region, we are looking for a Senior Regional Brand Manager in our Singapore headquarters to grow a strategic brand (Van Houten Professional) which targets at the HORECA & foodservice channels
Key responsibilities include
Reporting into the APAC Head of Marketing (based in Singapore), he / she will need to
Create the brand strategy, which includes setting the brand vision / manifesto, value proposition, style guides, brand guidelines
Determine the optimal product portfolio and product mix for the brand (price, packaging, place, promotion), and craft compelling USPs for the range to differentiate from the competition
Manage the innovation line-up for the brand and co-lead new product development with the R&D team to create a new generation of chocolate and cocoa experiences
Work closely with commercial teams to define route-to-market strategies for innovations and drive brilliant execution of regional launches.
Establish a strong understanding of various customer segments and the customer journey, coming up with marketing plans (both offline + online) to grow the customer base across different market channels.
Develop campaign ideas and relevant brand activation assets for the market’s deployment, ensuring the right message and branding is delivered in a consistent manner across the region.
Monitor market trends / competitors, uncover new insights and translate them into actionable ideas / concepts to fuel innovation funnel.
Analyze relevant brand financials (sales volume, margin, and forecast) of the VHP portfolio and create strategies for portfolio growth across different market channels to deliver impact for the business.
As this is a newly created role for the region, he / she will get the chance to shape a brand from scratch and own it.
Min Degree in Marketing / Communications
Excellent language skills, written and spoken (Proficiency in English; at least one other language is the preference)
Frequent business trips within APAC are part of the job.
Min 7-8 years of B2C marketing experience, preferably in a brand development function
Possess the marketing know-how to translate consumer and market understanding into brand strategies
Has extensive experience in handling creative and market research agencies
