Bollore Logistics is currently recruiting a SOLUTIONS ENGINEER based in SINGAPORE.

The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the Solutions department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Warehouse Solution Design (Customer Facing) :
  • o Support the development of new customers, either with existing client contact or by supporting the sales team for RFQ, site visit and presentation

    o Analyse customer requirements and support Q&A sessions

    o Design and propose warehousing solutions accordingly to customer needs :

  • Assess Resources, MHE, investments, EDI, automation opportunities, etc.
  • Provide costs analysis and rates
  • o Build RFP technical answer document to present the solution

    o Present the technical solution during tender selection meeting

  • Project Management :
  • o Manage the implementation of logistics project secured on various aspects :

    o Organize business requirements workshop between Customers teams, Information System, Regional team and Operations / Key Users

    o Analyse and summarize relevant data to support the workshop (decisions, follow-up analysis)

    o Define and implement the operational strategy (put away strategy, warehouse zoning, replenishment & picking strategy)

    o Follow-up IT developments and WMS setup / configuration with the Information System team Project Manager

    o Coordinate with purchasing for suppliers’ selections and site renovation / installation

    o Follow-up on the management of project :

  • Resources (both operational recruitment and resources allocated to the project)
  • Costs and budget follow-up
  • Schedule and on-time milestones / delivery
  • Deliverables
  • o Organize and report advancement with internal and external customers

    o Finalize potential commercial issues on contract, quotations

    Requirements :

  • Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain with minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Analytical, with ability to translate complex requirements and data into effective solutions
  • Commercial sense and results-oriented
  • Strong project management, planning and organizational skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Advanced in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project
