The Group Chief Economist’s Office provides market-leading insights and reports on the region and space Sea operates in, and work with policy makers to develop the digital ecosystem.
As part of the team, you will be a pioneer in starting a think tank for the company. You will be at the forefront of market developments, performing ahead of the curve research and public policy analysis relating to digital entertainment, ecommerce and digital financial services.
You will be working at the intersection of business and government, forging partnerships with policy makers, academicians and business leaders.
You will also be involved in organizing various seminars, conferences and workshops.
Understand and translate business objectives into qualitative and quantitative research objectives
Partner internal and external stakeholders to drive research projects
Conduct and manage fieldwork, including conducting primary and secondary research, identifying industry trends and analysing the market
Draw actionable insights and present findings in a clear and concise manner
Develop and deliver research papers and reports
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and partners, especially in the public sector
Organize conference, seminars, workshop, and executive training programs to disseminate insights
A degree from a well-regarded university with good academic credentials
At least 2 years of experience in a research or related role
Strong analytical skills
Familiarity with quantitative and statistical analysis
Passionate about the internet industry. Familiarity with the gaming, e-commerce and / or digital payment space is a plus
Stellar people and project management capabilities
Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to communicate in one of the ASEAN languages is a plus
