As a Test EFA Engineer at MSB, you will be responsible for developing frameworks for monitoring and improving Engineering performance to plan, providing value-add engineering solutions, and driving continuous improvement projects in Test EFA processes.
As supervisor for EFA technician, you will be responsible for providing leadership, directional and overall management of your EFA technician team.
Develop frameworks for monitoring and improve Engineering performance to plan
Maintain knowledge of engineering plans, forecasts and targets
Develop systems for tracking and monitoring actual performance e.g Lot Rejection Rate % (LRR%)
Evaluate and resolve performance issues
Drive projects to improve performance to plan
Provide support in maverick lot dispositions in SBL system
Extract and analyze test data
Perform electrical failure analysis
Recommend and communicate lot dispositions
Maintain Test process, equipment, systems and product knowledge
Collaborate to identify dispositions for new fail signatures and issue root causes
Feedback and escalate on new issues / failmode
Communicate new fail signature details
Support Product Engineering, Assembly / Test teams in issue root cause identification
Support continuous improvement projects
Maintain knowledge on SBL system and business process
Perform SBL fail rate and pareto analysis
Provide value-add engineering solutions in reducing mtSBL triggers and optimization of mtSBL disposition for EFA work efficiency
Manage Shift Team Members (Direct and Eventual Reports) : Staffing reports, Successfactors training profile reports, Performance feedback, Evaluations and goals
Ensure training and cross-training goals are met.
Mentor participants in production development programs
Establish and communicate performance expectations for direct reports
Monitor performance of direct reports and provides ongoing performance feedback, mentoring, and career guidance
Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Programming / scripting knowledge will be an added advantage.
Possess good communication, inter-personal skills and able to work with multiple cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of MCP / NAND / NOR / DRAM device functionalities, package construction, and electrical failure analysis (EFA) will be added advantage.
Knowledge of Test processes, engineering and / or manufacturing operations will be beneficial
Experience on managing direct reports / team member will be added advantage
