Job Responsibilities

  • Support Teaching and Learning
  • Liase with lecturers to assist in the set up of AV equipment for classes, industry projects, campus and off-campus events, and adhoc workshops.
  • Perform first-tier repair / servicing work of AV equipment and troubleshoot IT issues
  • Ensure operational readiness of teaching aids, such as video cameras, sound systems, projectors, computers and AV consumables
  • Facilities and Asset Management
  • Liase with vendors on the :
  • Sourcing of quotations related to equipment / component purchases
  • Installation of new equipment
  • Maintenance and repairs of existing equipment (second-tier and above)
  • Manage and track the booking of equipment and facilities
  • Maintain documentation i.e. inventory records in accordance with internal procedures and guidelines
  • Tag purchased goods, consumables and file for asset management
  • Ensure proper and safe use of teaching spaces and equipment in accordance with QEHS (Quality Environment Health Safety), WSH policies and procedures
  • Administrative Support
  • Perform simple admin tasks as required
  • Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years in AV and tech support industries
  • Experience / Involvement in pre-production, production and post-production work, in television and stage production will be an advantage
  • Able to perform entry-level IT functions and also, have good computer literacy
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • An aptitude for learning and innovation
  • Strong team player mind-set yet able to work independently and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Able to work shifts, if necessary, to support evening classes
