New Product Development (NPD) All OWNbrands (40%)
Responsible for effectively managing all new and existing product development projects from concept to launch. You will be responsible for proactively planning, organizing and controlling new product and process development
To actively participate in the origination and evaluation of development opportunities with the commercial team. To develop new products through benchmarking and category management in order to ascertain and fill the gaps in the market.
Work closely and effectively with both divisional colleagues as well as suppliers, planning and commercial teams in managing end to end NPD process.
Evaluate and trial of new product formulations from initial bench work through to recipe trials to final accepted recipe.
Broad understanding and awareness of food industry movements, keeping up with new ingredients and flavours as well as seeking out new suppliers to help drive the company’s overall NPD strategy.

Food Service and Export business support (30%)
Handle all customer specific requests from Food Service and export division for all brands
Brand Management (30%)
Brand custodian / champion for selected brands (all channels)
Develop and manage E-commerce business
Identify upcoming / changing consumer trends
Manage and plan BTL executions (trade marketing, tactical promotion, sampling exercise, POS materials, space buy, dress-up)
Manage brand & trade marketing plans and A&P expenses
Develop and manage brand positioning & marketing strategies (4P's)
Establish & ensure on-shelf merchandising standards
Manage Sales demand planning (ROF), Inventory tracking & management (OOS, slow movers, expired)

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in marketing, product management and / or sales within FMCG industry
Baking and cooking experience is desirable, however training could be provided for the right candidate
Experience of working on NPD projects
Experience of working with the food service sector would also be desirable
