Description Your new role This is a newly-created position due to very strong company growth.
In this role, you will manage supply chain finance processes for the APAC region, ensuring supply chain management costs are budgeted, tracked and under control.
You will provide financial expertise on supply chain projects, controlling logistics budgets vs actuals & accruals and highlighting risks and opportunities to the business.
This role will provide the business with key support around cost savings projects and will work closely with key business stakeholders to understand logistics cost management and make sure it is managed in the most efficient manner.
You will provide strong support to the Financial Controller in preparing monthly reporting regarding inventory, projections and stock levels and you will be a key user and designer for the Tableau reporting tool.
You will also work closely with the commercial finance team and demand planners to prepare budgets using SAP and to ensure successful stock clearance and will also work together with the audit and tax teams on certain finance projects.
What you'll need to succeed You will possess a bachelor degree in finance / accounting and 3-6 years finance experience in a supply chain environment such as Logistics, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Distribution or Consumer Goods.
You will be a high-potential, articulate finance professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to liaise effectively with top-level management.
You will be someone who can grow with the company as there will be many internal promotion paths from this role, into business partnering, commercial finance and FP&A leadership.
You will be familiar with SAP and having knowledge of other business tools will be advantageous.
