Reporting to Delivery Center Manager, your key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to :

  • Segment the portfolio of materials through an ABC / XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy.
  • Calculate and maintain in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and the inventory parameters.
  • Create and maintain rolling 12-24 months unconstrained demand forecasts for assigned products.
  • Review and improve forecast accuracy both at the aggregate and individual product level by identifying key root causes.
  • Manage Materials Resource Planning (MRP) exception messages on a daily basis.
  • Analyze excess and obsolete / aging inventory and take appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance.
  • Ensure optimized translation of purchase requisitions into purchase orders.
  • Work with Product Management team to coordinate new product launches, platform changes etc. and incorporate them into the demand plan
  • Requirements :

    Key requirements include :

  • Degree with minimum 3 years’ experience in material planning, demand forecast & strong data analysis skill.
  • Proficient in SAP and MS excel.
  • You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work under pressure. Good team work aptitude with problem solving ability, and demonstrated organisation and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
