Position Description

As part of the Global Markets Operations organization in Asia, the Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) team is looking for a highly motivated senior professional .

The organization has a Market Operation team which comprises of, Clearing, Deliveries, Regulatory / Exchange and Process Control, Strategy, Client Service and Documentation Teams.

This structure is replicated regionally in Chicago and EMEA processing trading activity over 60+ Exchanges. As well as an established track record with regards to listed futures, the function is currently expanding its capabilities with regards to centrally cleared OTC products, i.

e Interest Rate and Credit Default Swaps..

The candidate drive the implementation of the key Regulatory initiatives working closely with various stakeholders in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive cross coordination / execution of Risk activities and assessment. This includes strong execution / process focus to drive remediation, monitor progress, and go-
  • to-green plans where known risk control gaps exist.

  • Documenting the business logic, and designing test plans for regulatory reports
  • Executing testing to determine the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of regulatory reports
  • Partnering with India testing team to resolve issues arising from quality assurance testing carried out by them
  • Working with the Line-Of-Business report owners to create action plans to address control gaps in a timely way
  • Ensuring that the regional governance model operates as designed including regional governance meetings with key stakeholders, the provision of metrics and reporting, follow up on incidents and issues
  • Developing and producing metrics and analytics on regulatory issues and testing results
  • Maintaining and enhancing the Operations regulatory reporting inventory, ensuring it is complete and accurate.
  • Contributing to the development of strategic technology solutions to support testing, assessment, and report inventory management.
  • Preparing information on plans, progress, issues, for regulatory governance committees
  • Provide regulatory reporting risk subject matter expertise for Operations areas
  • Exercise judgment and influence business leaders and peers to Firm / External requirements and operational risk programs, balancing business strategy with appropriate risk / reward balance and adequate controls and remediation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Operations, Technology, Audit, Compliance and other control groups
  • Key Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work within a team environment and to stick to deadlines
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Ability to manage complex projects
  • Experience of analyzing and documenting business processes, and developing solutions
  • Experience of regulatory reporting processes ideally involving testing or quality assurance of regulatory reports
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate data
  • Strong ability to document information and metrics in a concise, accurate, and well-presented way
