Senior Sales Engineer

The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for engaging with prospects, directly or along with channel partners, to drive new customer acquisition and upsell opportunities for BlueVoyant’s CyberWatcher portfolio.

BlueVoyant’s Third-Party Cyber Risk Management solutions are delivered on the name CyberRiskWatcher; these solutions are suited for assessing and managing cyber risk for supply chains, investments, and enterprise portfolios for large firms.

Qualifications for the Role :

  • Track record of successful engagement with Fortune 1000 clients
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a passion for cybersecurity technologies and services.
  • In-depth technical knowledge with security technologies to include 3rd party risk, operational risk, and Cybersecurity
  • In-depth technical knowledge of external indicators of cyber risk; to include results from vulnerability scanning
  • Substantial knowledge of best practices of penetration testers and what external indications would be exploited by a malicious cyber threat actors
  • Substantial knowledge of information technology (IT) configuration patterns of small, medium and large-sized firms; inherent understanding of the best practices of network segmentation and how such firms would access the Internet
  • Provide flawless product presentations, demonstrations, and RFI / RFP responses.
  • Ability to fully scope the client environment and provide a detailed quote.
  • Work with Product Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to identify and resolve potential inadequacies in the products.
  • Knowledge of trends in the security space.
  • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
  • Demonstrated and proven sales results for sophisticated solutions
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; able to demonstrate patience and enthusiasm while communicating with prospects
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Ability to work accurately under stress and pressure to meet competing deadlines
  • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude
  • Ideal candidates will :

  • Have in-depth technical experience of 3rd party risk, GRC, operational risk, cybersecurity solutions, and the managed security services market to include managed detection and response.
  • Have experience in a startup environment and be able to contribute to refining our offerings and go-to-market approaches
  • Have successfully worked in a channel and partner-driven sales environments
