Your team Located at the P&G Singapore Innovation Center at Biopolis, you will be part of a growing Biosciences organization here in Singapore.
You will have the opportunity to work with multifunctional teams and external partners.
What success looks like Success in this role is based on effective management of project data analysis, drive hypothesis and communicate with internal / external team.
Responsible for applying state-of-the-art bioinformatic and statistical tools to analyze large-scale, complex datasets
Optimize, maintain and assist in quality control of bioinformatics pipelines & workflow
Assist in cleaning, processing and maintenance of complex datasets
Partner with internal and external collaborators to assess and invent better approaches for large-scale biological data analysis and integrationQualifications
PhD degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field with strong emphasis on quantitative data analysis
Experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas : sequencing analysis, NGS, microarray analysis. This will be an advantage but not a requirement.
Strong background in mathematics and programming, including R and scripting language like Perl or Python
Comfortable in a linux computing environment
Demonstrates ability to seek and apply new knowledge personally, and to develop knowledge and capability in others
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team
