Overview of Position

As the Manager / Senior Manager of Career Services Division in Workforce Singapore Agency, you provide service development expertise, thought leadership to plan and develop content, innovate new service capabilities, career service model, marketing and outreach strategies for WSG’s Careers Connect.

Our services are aimed at helping the local workforce in managing their careers, navigating their job search and enhancing their employability.

We are looking for individuals who believe in human-centred design practices and are passionate about building best-in-class career services and creating delightful content to help Singaporeans find meaningful careers both through our online means as well as at our physical centres.

You constantly look out for ways to better understand the workforce’s needs, and identify relevant strategies to raise the bar and efficacy of our career services through performance tracking and indicators.

Task, Duties and Responsibilities include :

Service Innovation and Development

  • Ideate and develop future career services, concepts and strategies to engage individuals of various levels, profiles and needs in the workforce.
  • Develop and incorporate behavioural insights as part of our services to nudge individuals towards a progressive and positive mindset.
  • Deploy design thinking sprints and / or other methods to test and prototype new service initiatives.
  • Formulate and develop service performance indicators to ascertain efficacy of programmes and services.
  • Content Strategy and Development

  • Conduct user research among local jobseeker segments using qualitative and quantitative methods to understand their stories, needs and pain points
  • Plan and execute a content strategy that meets the changing economic climate and workforce’s needs
  • Write and create engaging and meaningful content (articles, videos, infographics, comics and etc) related to job search and career development
  • Innovate and translate the physical delivery of career services (1-1 coaching, workshops, events) to online modes of delivery
  • Research on content best practices across public and private agencies to supply high quality ideas to the team
  • Develop a product roadmap, and partner with stakeholders in the planning, execution and management of resources, roadmap and release of features
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, adhoc writers, outsourced design and developers to coordinate design activities, test and implement changes
  • Digital and Content Marketing

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide consistency in brand voice, style and tone across public communications, such as emails, articles and collaterals
  • Optimise content articles for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to drive organic traffic to the website, through market and keyword research
  • Assess content performance through Google Analytics data analysis and present regular reports to management, with recommendations for improvement
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to publish content pieces on social media channels
  • Aid in the development and coordination of marketing campaigns and below-the-line collaterals
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, Arts, Social Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Essential selection criteria include :

    Knowledge

  • Possess 2 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in human-centred design and behavioural insights is a plus
  • Product or programme marketing experiences will be an added advantage
  • Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Effective business pitching, illustration and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in productivity suites such as Microsoft Office, basic content and graphic design and editing skills.
  • Familiarity with wordpress or content management systems is a plus
