About the Role :
An Interior Designer with 2-4 years of experience post-graduation to focus on workplace and commercial interiors for a growing, diverse client base.
In this position, you will join a highly creative, collaborative, and nimble team dedicated to problem-solving.
Collaborate on corporate interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development
Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents
Learn to resolve complex technical and design issues
Participate in selection of furniture systems and specifications
Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction to meet overall project objectives
Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples
Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Takes work seriously with a there’s always a solution mindset and healthy sense of humour.
Utilize 3D rendering software to communicate design concept
Work as a team with the Designers, Workspace Managers and Facilities Managers
Smart, persuasive and contributes to projects when needed
Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs
Diploma in Interior Design or Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design
2 4 years design experience in corporate interior and hospitality projects. Retail and residential experience also will be considered.
Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, colour and materials
Outstanding graphic presentation skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and 3ds Max
Good team player, resourceful, independent and possess strong interpersonal skills
Helpful personality with a pleasant disposition, positive work attitude and client oriented
Able to travel
