As an Application Engineer, General Industry (focusing on LifeTech Segment), you will be responsible for engineering support to Sales and assisting the customers in the selection and acquisition of needed products for their application and at times creating new prototype to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
Providing technical support, technical proposal and all required activities to customers.
Drive new product / solution development that might be required in new market segment. Keen interest in designing & building new prototype will be appreciated.
Work closely with internal / external parties on proposals / costing and recommendations to meet targets.
Support the sales team and customer service team to provide technical consultancy to all customers and any information that needs to be relayed and as requested by customers.
Presents products, suggests selections that meet customer’s needs and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and benefit.
Recommends additional products related to customer needs.
Handle attend and monitor customer's complain regarding product complaints.
Performs other related duties that may be assigned / requested from time to time by the Country Manager.
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechatronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Instrument Engineering
Minimum 2 years experiences in Industrial Automation with experience in Project Management
Good interpersonal and communication skill with all levels of people
Initiative and problem-solving skills
Self-driven and self-motivation
Ability to work under pressure
