He / She will provide support to the field sales resources to close strategic opportunities and manage import customer relationships.
Set the strategy for the region by aligning First Line Sales Manager’s focus with high level business objectives. Job Responsibilities :
Provides leadership and manage sales team through on-boarding, coaching and development to meet business and sales objectives.
Sets the strategy for the region by aligning team’s focus with high level business objectives.
Defines and communicates the strategy for the region and ensure alignment with high level business objectives.
Sets objectives for immediate team and hold them accountable through review processes.
Partners with all sales resources to develop territory and account plans to maximise revenue in the assigned region.
Provides support in the development of large, strategic sales opportunities and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in major accounts.
Bridges the voice of the customer between field sales and the support functions.
Manages and oversees region’s selling activities (e.g. new product launch, account assignment and ongoing customer needs.
Job Requirements :
University Degree; MBA will be advantageous.
Minimum 7 years of solid track record in sales and sales management, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in people management.
Proven track record in ability to drive for accountability in team through proactive engagement, providing of guidance and building resilience in sales team to achieve the overall sales targets.
A coach and talent developer who sets clear expectations, provides ongoing feedback and motivates the team to reach their highest potentials.
Experienced in attracting, building and developing a diversified, balanced and effective team; is effective in collaborating with stakeholders beyond region to identify suitable roles to advance talents.
Put in place a succession plan as appropriate.
Possess strong business and financial acumen and instils fiscal awareness in the team.
Ability to strategically prioritise and suitably adapt and improve on sales team’s strategic approach as and when necessary to focus on high value and likely to win opportunities / accounts.
Resourceful and experienced in leveraging on internal resources to enhance team’s overall effectiveness.
Always staying abreast on industry updates and maintains solid and current knowledge of new product launch / updates.
