To support the implementation of Mandai’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy towards Mandai’s long term goals, by working closely with internal and external stakeholders to plan, design, implement and track sustainable solutions and initiatives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Support and coordinate the planning, design, implementation and tracking of sustainable solutions for the development and operations of the Mandai Precinct, in line with Mandai’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy
Assist in carbon management initiatives including the calculation and compilation of data, analysis of research and trends in the carbon and renewable energy markets
Coordinate and support the implementation of Mandai’s Energy Roadmap
Support the implementation of Mandai’s palm oil commitments by 2025 through coordinating and conducting annual palm oil audits, research and advocacy
Lead and manage the advocacy for Mandai’s Environmental thrusts, liaise and collaborate across all stakeholder groups (internal, external organisations, NGOs, agencies)
Job Responsibilities :
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related fields, advanced degrees preferred
At least 5 to 8 years of experience in the energy or agriculture / commodities sector or related fields
Solid appreciation of sustainability principles, planning, systems design and implementation preferred
Ability to lead and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies
High degree of initiative, detail-oriented, creative, innovative, with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with Singapore Green Mark and other sustainability certifications preferred
Corporate sustainability experience including sustainability reporting at organisation-wide level
Knowledge of GRI, Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi) preferred
