Due to expansion of business, we are seeking a professional with a strong track record within an established Asset Management firm handling both Operations and Investment Risk components to join their ranks.
And ideal candidate will have vast experience in :
Performance Reporting, Attribution and Operations :
Regular performance management reporting for individual asset class with clear performance and risk attribution.
Produce and deploy self-correcting mechanism to ensure reduction of performance gaps versus asset class benchmark.
You will be responsible to overlook all operational support functions to investment team.
Investment Risk Management and Governance : Deployment Plans and Risks :
Evaluate, challenge and critique in regards to capital allocation and capital deployment plans and produce alignment of investment objectives.
Investment / Risk Frameworks : Plan direct and institutionalise - Plan investment / risk frameworks and enforce and monitor trends for alpha generation.
You will also participate and contribute in counter-cyclical debates or protection of downside risks.
Leadership in risk management, volatility budgeting and allocation on all asset classes. You will be responsible for mapping of positions, risk modelisations, statistical profiling relative to benchmarks and factors

skills and experience required
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related course from a reputable university.
Proven track record with at least 15-20 years of relevant experience in a Asset Management firm, Family Office or financial industry, with experience handling multiple asset classes.
Ability to handle operations and risk functions independently with prior hands-on investment knowledge.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a lean team.
Good leadership skills with ability to build teamwork and consensus.
Excellent oral, writing, presentation, planning and administrative skills at a senior level.
Excellent people skills and ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels.
High standard of work ethics and grounding of discretion and confidentiality.
