We are looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer to work with a front-office development team. You will be part of the team that develops cutting-edge research and trading applications that will drive investment decisions for fundamental equities portfolio managers.

Candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and able to demonstrate strong ownership of work and high work ethics.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Interact with quants, Portfolio Managers to understand their requirements and with ability to identify problems as well as offer solutions quickly
  • Familiarity with SDLC practices and tools such as GIT, Continuous Integration (development and deployment) tools, Unit Testing driven development
  • Exposure to distributed computing technologies like Spark, Cassandra, and HDFS is a plus
  • Qualifications / Skills Required

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of server side development -Core Java / J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Any ORM experienceREST based Webservice development / Microservices ImplementationsRDBMS - MS SQL Server or equivalentPython, Airflow, R is a plus
  • 5+ years of web development in Typescript, Javascript, SCSS, HTML5, Angular 2 or greater
  • Experience with reactive programming (e.g., RXJS); Data visualization experience (High Charts, D3 or similar)
  • Knowledge of Equities Business, stocks, options, warrants etc
  • Factor Model understanding, equity pricing, events e.g. corporate actions
  • Strong analytical skills and Strong problem solving capabilities
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
