1. Scope of Work for SAP Consultant (Functional)
Major duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate is to work with the Authority’s system management team to :
a. Track problem reports (PR), change requests (CR) and service requests (SR) status and progress.
b. Review third party contractor’s proposed solution for CR / PR to ensure quality and completeness.
c. Perform impact assessment on PR / CR.
d. Drive and co-ordinate all internal and external project teams to achieve ES(Logs) operation status, especially in the area of incident reporting and root cause analysis.
e. Review project artefacts, including for new systems transiting to operation and support phase.
f. Ensure third party contractor conformance to established policies, standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) (including program, documentation and transport request).
g. Support testing to address system obsolescence.
h. Facilitate security clearance and provide production access for third party contractors.
i. Participate and provide the necessary support and services in activities related to audit and management / progress meetings.
1. Pre-requisite for SAP Consultant (Functional)
1.1 Education Qualification
a. The candidate(s) should possess at least a Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Engineering or Equivalent.
1.2 Required Competencies
a. Good knowledge of information technology, especially in the areas of SAP related product and technology implementation.
b. Good knowledge of key integration points between SAP ERP modules.
c. Good planning and coordination skills.
d. Strong writing, verbal communication and presentation skills.
e. Good team player, responsible and conscientious.
f. Resourceful, independent, responsive and pro-active.
g. Basic knowledge of the data design in SAP R3 ECC is required.
h. Hands-on IT experience with Material Management configuration, support and integration to other SAP modules.
