Key accountabilities

1.Execute against the requirements of DBS’s physical security program for DBS operations. These requirements include service delivery in the functional areas of :

  • Physical security advisory and risk assessment
  • Event / executive security management
  • Training
  • Incident response
  • Responsibilities

  • Conductphysical security risk assessments of DBS assets and facilities as well asoutsourced provider sites.
  • Providephysical and technical security SME guidance to business / support units asrequired.
  • Supportthe execution of event / executive security management duties as tasked.
  • Conductphysical security training.
  • Provide24 / 7 incident response support.
  • Representthe bank in industry groups, peer forums and vendor meetings.
  • Requirements

  • At least five years of experience inrisk assessment or in an audit role.
  • Degreein any discipline or equivalent working experience.
  • CPPor PSP accreditation preferred but not compulsory.
  • Validdriver’s license with own vehicle is advantageous.

  • Possesses physical and mental resilience to undertake out-of-hours assignments.
  • Working knowledge in conducting risk assessments, site surveys and / or audits with a view to achieving a control environment that protects and enhances organisational value.
  • Prepare risk assessment reports and checklists to document assessment scope, findings and recommendations; interpret the significance of risk assessment findings and make practical recommendations for remediation.
  • Provide subject matter expertise advice to BUs / Sus and external stakeholders on risk issues.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to articulate risk issues.
