This role will support the Communications Manager in NTC (Nanyang Technopreneurship Center) events and media engagement activities aimed at elevating the profile of NTC as a leading institution in entrepreneurship education.
The responsibilities are as follows :
Corporate Communications and Public Relations
Perform writing, copywriting and editing of marketing materials for programmes conducted by the Center.
Carry out English / Chinese writing and translation of communication materials sponsorship proposals, scholarship proposals, press releases, corporate announcements, feature stories, speeches, presentations, brochures, interviews, etc.
Support the Communications Manager (CSM) in managing media relationship with NTU Corporate Commnication Office for all media initiatives.
Events, Marketing and Publicity
Be an effective ambassador for NTU and NTC on suitable occasions.
Execute and manage events logistics and publicity efforts that contribute towards the Center’s objectives to promote and advance entrepreneurship in NTU.
Develop publicity materials in accordance with the corporate guidelines.
Content generation for social media platforms.
Other events logistics.
Work closely with CSM to conceptualize and organise a series of public lectures, seminars, workshops and venture grant from the entrepreneurship education fund.
Assist in managing the relationship with donors and various stakeholders within NTU (faculty, students and staff of the various schools and centers).
See through website revamp plans and timeline.
Prepare website training slides and instruction manuals for co-workers.
Update website content (articles and suitable graphics) on a regular basis.
Maintain, configure and troubleshoot issues relating to website management.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Experience in writing, event management, marketing management or equivalent.
Experience in media relations, public relations, branding, events and management of social media and corporate websites.
Possess technical knowledge in P.R., marketing, advertising and organisational skills in executing programs.
Knowledge in adobe design software and coding not a must but will be an added advantage.
Energetic and passionate about events and communications.
Ability to multi-task and deliver under time-pressure.
