As a Program Manager in Global Procurement you will be responsible for leading strategic programs that are inspired by Global Procurement’s organization's strategy and overarch a strategic domain and area expertise that require strategic planning and continuous improvement of multiple complex projects / efforts that are connected to achieve specific business goals and objectives.

You will assure accurate design and tracking of the program to predict results and outcomes critical to success. Analysis of progress in terms of root cause analysis, pay-

back assessment, risk, resources consumption, interdependencies and gaps. You will interact with senior level for direction and oversight and you must be able to influence at this level.

Role Responsibilities and Tasks

Lead Program Benefits

  • Identify and establish benefits realization plan and develop benefits metrics and continually assess metrics and communicate progress to Partners.
  • Balance resource allocation with benefits throughout program cycle
  • Manage Program Teams and Partners

  • Identify Partners and handle expectations
  • Collect and document partner requirements
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, supervise, and recognize teams supporting the program
  • Maintain program support through interaction with senior leaders
  • Oversee Program Governance

  • Develop program scope definition and approval
  • Set metrics and targets
  • Lead program change management
  • Initiate and Plan New Efforts / Projects Supporting the Program

  • Define scope, goals and deliverables
  • Plan and schedule timelines and achievements
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Create roadmaps for future initiatives
  • Lead ISM NPI Programs

  • Lead multiple programs at one time.
  • Understand the need of NPI teams and streamline the communication to the ISM team.
  • Building strong operating relationships with internal partners
  • Lead partner meetings and report on raw material readiness.
  • Prevent NPI Raw Material Shortage

  • Work closely with NPI CSM and / or BE Material CSM at early NPI stage on parts selection or recommendations
  • Involve and recommend risk buy decision
  • In the event of shortage, coordinate mitigations plans & alternatives to partners.
  • Experience

    The following are examples of experiences to help prepare a team member for the Program Manager role.

  • Knowledgeable of Micron product portfolio
  • Able to assemble, lead, mentor, and grow cross-functional teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple sites
  • Working knowledge of software systems and database structures
  • Experienced with working with third party suppliers in difficult and demanding situations
  • Be the face of Micron
  • Presetting to higher management
  • Education Required :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Project Management certification preferred
  • Experience / Qualifications Required

  • 5 year experience in any of the following : Supply Chain, NPI, or program management in semiconductor environment.
  • Strong program or project management
  • Ability to think strategically and deploy tactically
  • A confirmed ability to partner with global partners
  • Strong desire to drive improvement, not settle for status quo
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to meeting the team’s expectations and requirements
  • Steadfastly pushes self and others for results
  • Act enthusiastically in time-sensitive situations
