Director of Product (Partner Experience), APAC

We are looking for a Director of Product to lead one of our tribes in Singapore.As a Director you will be responsible and accountable to define and deliver features that contribute to the growth of Restaurant Partner Services vertical across different markets.

You’ll define the value propositions, product Vision & strategy, go to market and KPIs we should focus on to make our Restaurant Partner's lives better and to grow foodpanda business.

You will work closely with engineers, product management and user experience designers to build best-in-class services and apps.

You will liaise with other product management and leadership teams and work closely with business development, marketing, finance, legal to get feedback from partners ,customers and international teams to define and build product requirements in order to grow the business.

You will be helping in building an organization based on smart people, diversity, and individuals with a can-do attitude that want to build apps and services used daily by foodpanda customers and vendors worldwide.

What's on the menu :

  • Set the vision and strategy for foodpanda verticals with our executive and engineering teams.
  • You will directly manage a tribe and 8+ Products and Product managers who are focused on Partner service products
  • Execute a robust and comprehensive strategy, product roadmap, and business plan for foodpanda business
  • Define the roadmap, business requirements, measures of success, and features for your products and services, and work with your PM team to drive and deliver these to market.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to drive up engagement for users
  • Grow revenue directly attributable to value created within foodpanda verticals
  • Operate strong feedback loops, identify and drive measurements, and creatively use data sources to craft better experiences and ensure we are building the right products over time.
  • Collaborate with marketing, business development, design, engineering, analytics, and other product managers to drive our business with meaningful value to our user base and to ensure alignment with Product strategy
  • Drive highly visible and impactful decisions for your area.
  • Keep apprised of new innovations and trends in the industry
  • What you can bring to the table :

  • 10+ years of experience building complex software or application platforms (Mobile + Web)
  • 5+ years experience in complex e-commerce product
  • 7+ years in product management
  • 7+ years managing organizations while still remaining hands-on to the details
  • 5+ years directly managing product managers
  • Willing to take action and ambitious with ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere
  • Thrive between the balance of customer experience and commercial needs
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and be able to break down barriers
  • Ability to balance priorities and multi-task
  • Experience in presenting to senior management and building consensus
  • Turn business requirements into a road map of features broken down by quarter
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog with clear and concise user stories
  • Sound product and execution skills and ability to perform under tight deadlines
  • Able to be very detailed while keeping an eye on the big picture
  • Define key requirements and go deep on the details as needed
  • Be the SME for the feature(s) / product you are driving
  • Develop metrics and reporting for features
  • Understand the systems and technologies behind your product, their limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons for architectural decisions.
  • Drive alignment across program and technology teams to deliver on stakeholder needs.
  • Experience in building platform solutions, defining services and applications
