As part of IT operations team in Garena, you will play a vital role in providing a secure and efficient IT environment for whole Garena staff.

You will manage IT assets, provide IT solutions, setup and maintain systems and network services. Besides, you will work closely with our security team and implement security policies to safeguard our IT and enhance our users’ experience.

  • Provide day-to-day support to ensure the smooth running of computers, network devices, printers as well as to support end users’ needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, maintain and update technical support documentation
  • Handle asset management, maintain inventory and liaise with vendors
  • IT infrastructure and system monitoring and reports
  • Network device, telephone system, application server setup and maintenance
  • Team development : You are the ultimate, accountable party for ensuring a highly-functioning engineering team; whether you manage people or lead technical vision, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and continually-improving high-performing engineers;
  • you will not only exemplify our cultural pillars but also be adept at imparting them on others

  • Drive technical vision and direction : You are ultimately accountable for the technical quality of your product / service;
  • you will determine how to use technology and engineering prowess to enhance the experience we deliver to our players

  • Other duties include performing first level troubleshooting and support on scheduled server backups
  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Sciences or Information Technology
  • Over 5 years of experience in supporting Microsoft Windows, OSX 10.10 and higher users; broad technical experience, including VoIP troubleshooting, networking (Juniper / Cisco), LAN / WAN, Active Directory, Google Administration, Adobe Suite, and Autodesk, HW / SW
  • Professional Qualification - Microsoft Certified / CCNA is a plus
  • Familiar with and good at managing documenting standard / applications operating procedures
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to quickly identify problems and implement solutions with minimal downtime
  • Strong communication and people management skills
