Your Purpose

LEAP advises executives on becoming data-driven businesses, harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to leap into the future.

The LEAP Smart Infrastructure Platform vision is to bring together a collection of cloud-based software products into an integrated offering with a unified experience.

The platform requires architecting for growth and to ensure it can operate at high scale, resilience and performance. At the same time, it must be carefully positioned with our customers and able to evolve rapidly in response to their needs.

As the Head of Marketing, you will responsible for driving customer acquisition and the success of the LEAP brand. You will conceive, oversee and deliver marketing and communications campaigns from ideation to launch.

You will be accountable to the value, image and positioning of LEAP compared to competitors, thereby increasing performance of our brand, products and services.

This role will provide ample opportunities for growth and you must possess drive and ambition to extend your skills into new areas of customer focus that will evolve as part of your role and the growth of the business.

You must ensure the company’s ability to deliver the proposed solutions and be able to demonstrate that your work delights our customers by delivering best-in-class Net Promoter Score (NPS) results.

The role is critical to the success of LEAP and will initially be an individual contributor, and has the potential to grow (based on success) to a lead a team as we scale out.

The role is primarily customer-focused, but it is expected that you will work within the STT ecosystem to assist in the evaluation and execution of the overall business strategy including M&A, deal structuring, technology and business architecture.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the CEO, this role will cover the following : -

Marketing

Lead the marketing team to :

  • Conceive and develop effective marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition
  • Conceive and organise customer campaigns and events
  • Conduct market research and analysis, to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition
  • Transform market findings into actionable insights to inform positioning and / or marketing strategies
  • Monitor, understand, and respond to competitive performance, branding, messaging, and tactics
  • Monitor sales and marketing trends and use insights to enhance growth
  • Monitor performance and progress of marketing plans using metrics and data
  • Conduct financial forecasting and spend for customer acquisition and awareness driving activities
  • Plan, budget and manage marketing mix, budget and spend
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal and external teams, agencies, key stakeholders, and third-party vendor partners.
  • Brand management and Communications

    Lead the brand and communications team to :

  • Oversee the management of the company brand and brand strategy, to drive strong brand value
  • Oversee the management of external stakeholder communications strategy and plan
  • Oversee the management of employee communications strategy and plan
  • Monitor performance and progress of communications plans using metrics and data
  • Must Have Requirements

  • At least 10 years marketing experience in B-to-B technology space, preferably majority of time spent within SAAS, IAAS, PAAS environments
  • At least 5 years marketing experience in the Cloud industry
  • Good handle on consumer and market insights in the cloud technology industry, through robust analysis of market data and customer research.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing strongly differentiated positioning and marketing strategies that have exceeded business objectives
  • Proven capability in building and executing a multi-channel marketing plan for APAC
  • Possess strong GTM strategizing capabilities and proven hands-on execution abilities
  • Good to have Requirements

  • At least 15 years of marketing experience
  • Good technical awareness and experience working in B2B, high-tech products / services preferred
  • Strong marketing agency relationships and experience of working agencies with varied competencies viz. events, direct marketing, digital marketing, tele-marketing etc.
  • Solid quantitative and budget management skills
  • Strong attention to details, planning and project management
  • An attitude that anything is possible, and a relentless focus on the customer.
  • Able to thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic, collaborative and not afraid to take risks. Formal Education
  • Bachelors’ degree in business, marketing, communications, technical, or relevant field of study
