Position : Temporary Accounts Assistant ( 6 month contract )

Working Day : Normal Shift (5 days work week) , 7.50am to 4.55pm


  • Handles AR function including invoice issuance, apply AR receipts, and credit control management.
  • Prepare monthly AR aging reports, customers statement of accounts for distribution, account reconciliation and analysis.
  • Follow up with customers for overdue debts and co-ordinate with billing team on disputes.
  • Handles some of the AP function including expenses are coded correctly and key into the system in a systematic way and entries are posted before month end closing.
  • Perform duties to support the monthly AR / AP closing process within the required timeline.
  • Make booking vessel with forwarder / shipping line for outgoing shipment.
  • Coordinate between forwarder / shipping line, warehouse and requestor for shipment collection date and time.
  • Any other adhoc duties as assigned.
  • Requirements

  • Diploma in Accountancy with 3-5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Possess relevant experience in Account Receivable.
  • Mature, Independent and positive work attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadline.
