Position : Temporary Accounts Assistant ( 6 month contract )
Working Day : Normal Shift (5 days work week) , 7.50am to 4.55pm
Handles AR function including invoice issuance, apply AR receipts, and credit control management.
Prepare monthly AR aging reports, customers statement of accounts for distribution, account reconciliation and analysis.
Follow up with customers for overdue debts and co-ordinate with billing team on disputes.
Handles some of the AP function including expenses are coded correctly and key into the system in a systematic way and entries are posted before month end closing.
Perform duties to support the monthly AR / AP closing process within the required timeline.
Make booking vessel with forwarder / shipping line for outgoing shipment.
Coordinate between forwarder / shipping line, warehouse and requestor for shipment collection date and time.
Any other adhoc duties as assigned.
Diploma in Accountancy with 3-5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
Possess relevant experience in Account Receivable.
Mature, Independent and positive work attitude.
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadline.
