Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the overall operational activities of restaurant and backend kitchen.
  • Develop customer relations via active engagements with customers
  • Ensure maximum efficiency of kitchen and production of consistent, quality food.
  • Planning menus, developing new recipes, supervising kitchen staff, and preparing food.
  • Ensure the Kitchen team adheres to sanitation, food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Provide fresh ideas for events that will promote the brand in line with its vision.
  • Mentor, coach and evaluate performance of kitchen personnel
  • Monitoring food costing, inventory, quality control to minimizing food wastage
  • Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to shortages
  • Assist and maintain kitchen budgeting needs.
  • Requirements :

  • Min diploma or Bachelor Degree in Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management
  • 3 years’ prior experience working in Michelin restaurant
  • 3 years’ experience as Head chef in European fusion cuisine, able to do Asian dishes.
  • Able to converse and build relationships with customers.
  • Fully experience and capable to manage the end-to-end steps of menu creation, costing, product launch and menu refinement by working closely with the kitchen crew and management team
  • Extensive knowledge of ingredients, dishes and preparation techniques
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Good scheduling and organization skills
  • Preferably candidate with any chef societies licenses & certifications
  • Business knowledge preferred
  • Able to work long hours and over weekends / public holidays.
