Head of New Business ICIS is seeking for the Head of New Business is a senior commercial and strategic leader in our business and is responsible for delivering profitable growth and exceeding targets from new logo accounts across Asia Pacific.
This person will manage a team of 6 based in Singapore and oversee the new business activities in our North Asian and South Asian countries.
Defining, developing and delivering on short- and long-term commercial strategies to address key market opportunities and differentiate ICIS, enhancing prospect engagement and results via go-to-market excellence.
The role will provide a key leadership role across the business and will be required to input into business strategy and identify and nurture key customer stakeholders.
As a leader in the region, responsibilities include embedding customer-centricity across ICIS and being a customer champion, driving insight and best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities Responsible for exceeding financial and wider business objectives, creating a high-performance new business sales function that will differentiate ICIS via commercial excellence to capture market share and deliver customer value When necessary, hire, lead, develop, inspire and motivate your team to deliver against regional, business and team objectives by role modelling world class behaviours and hold’s self and others to account Deployment of resource into areas of best impact to execute on market strategy Increase both customer and employee satisfaction, engagement, mission impact, loyalty, innovation and revenue.
Develop a deep understanding of customer workflow, market trends, competitive activity, opportunity and threats Requirements Significant experience in new business attainment and commercial execution, a strong track record of creating new business teams and driving growth to exceed financial and other business objectives Well versed in creating and developing sales strategies to maximise go-to-market resource and execute against market opportunity Extensive experience of C level commercial negotiations Proven track record of leading teams in value based, customer-centric buying methodologies and exceeding objectives and financial goals Driven, passionate, motivated individual, curious about everything, willing to ask questions and challenge the status quo in order to provide better customer, employee and business outcomes What’s it like to work here?
