Teaching Fellow/Lecturer (Early Childhood Care and Education)

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct lectures
  • Teach across a range of qualification types, in day or evening classes
  • Review, design and develop course materials
  • Develop and conduct research projects
  • Present and disseminate research findings, both orally and in writing
  • Participate in professional conferences and seminars
  • Liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Any other tasks and assignments as assigned
  • Requirements :

  • At least Master’s Degree in Early Childhood for application of Teaching Fellow position
  • A PhD in Early Childhood for application of Lecturer position
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience (preferably at supervisory level) in early childhood and Adult education
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Proficient in research methodology
  • Commitment to the profession and to their own continuing professional development (CPD)
  • The potential to expand knowledge in order to teach a broad curriculum
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines & has the ability to multitask
  • A team player who is responsible and able to work independently
  • Experience in Teaching Chinese as a Second will be an added advantage
