Apply and join us now as Maintenance Engineer (Water / Pure Steam System) to be based in our Manufacturing Division in Tuas, Singapore.

Our Engineers support internal and external manufacturing operations remain operational, continuously improve and innovate.

Job Purpose

Plans, organizes, performs engineering and maintenance activities related to the installation, modifications, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations and maintenance of equipment / system to ensure that they are safe, efficiently, reliable and meet GMP / regulatory / production requirements at production plant.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work on clean utilities such as purified water system, water for injection system and pure steam system.
  • Provides support to complete work activities timely, efficiently and satisfactorily
  • Collates and report the team shift or day activities to the team lead
  • Provides simple troubleshooting and diagnostic of equipment failure to determine the root cause and perform immediate corrective actions.
  • Use RTPS or RCFA tool for difficult or complex problem.

  • Standby for any emergency repair after office hours / weekends and public holidays.
  • Operates and maintains utilities within the production plant
  • Performs and coordinates utilities shutdown, startup, swing over, and equipment servicing and inspection
  • Performs jobs assigned by Supervisor pertaining to installation, modification, fabrication, testing, servicing and repairs of equipment with adherence to site change control procedures or minor projects.
  • Performs testing, commissioning, qualification (IQ, OQ) activities
  • Carries out Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) improvement initiatives (i.e. audits, training, etc) and submit recommendation
  • Performs corrective and preventive maintenance for the electrical systems to ensure efficient running of equipment
  • Performs calibrations and preventive maintenance on all types of industrial instruments for temperature, pressure, level, flow, RH and analyzers
  • Participate in SHE, Business Compliance, cGMP and all other compliance-related matters, where applicable
  • Qualification

  • NTC / ITC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Instrument & Control engineering or its equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years of working experience, preferably with experience from FMCG and Semi con industry.
  • Engineer with experience in clean utilities such as purified water system, water for injection system and pure steam system.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and good documentation practice will be an advantage
