About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Content Strategist to create compelling content for Grab’s in-app and website user interfaces in English.
The content should assist Grab’s customers, passengers and drivers to use our products in the shortest and clearest way possible.
The Content Strategist should possess not only strong writing skills but also solid understanding of users and research, and demonstrate the ability to produce and edit copies.
Take responsibility for and manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned writing projects, including mobile app, web, product and customer service related content.
Ensure all written materials are appropriately checked and reviewed, fully compliant and delivered on time.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to produce precise and sharp copies that address customer needs in various markets.
Create and maintain a content style guide to ensure content quality and convey the best practices for content creators and translators.
Ensure all written content are delivered in our approved tone-of-voice.
Understand findings from user researches and apply appropriate content and solutions to address the problems.
Understand the consumption habits of our users, putting together a content strategy that fits into the way they search for and engage with content.
Understand the daily lives of our users and develop a content strategy that drives relevance for and engagement with the Grab brand into their needs and livelihoods.
6+ years of relevant experience working with designers, product managers, project managers and developers in an agile fashion.
Outstanding UX writing and editing skills in English, with an ability to produce copies in a variety of styles for different audiences.
Writing and editing skills in Simplified Chinese or one of the Southeast Asian languages is a plus.
Strong background in eCommerce, online payment or tech startup environment preferred.
Passion for winning customers through solving their problems.
Ability to multi-task and deliver several projects on time.
Strong communication and people skills and ability to easily collaborate across a remote and diverse workforce.
Ability to work independently, anticipate problems and suggest solutions.
Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills; understands and utilises metrics relevant to role.
Ability to resolve issues diplomatically.
