Job Description

  • Assist IT Manager in planning, implementing technologies for the organization.
  • Provide IT infrastructure support which includes but not limited to end-user workstations, server, network, email, wireless, endpoint security, firewalls.
  • Provide end users with company resources such as Office applications and IT equipment.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks for servers such as backup, disk space housekeeping, and creation / deletion of user accounts.
  • Perform periodic capacity planning and necessary upgrade of hardwares and softwares.
  • Perform routine system monitoring and tuning to ensure optimal use of system resources.
  • Project coordinate / new IT projects which require server / storage / network implementation.
  • Provide helpdesk support to remote offices.
  • Liase with external auditors to provide necessary documentation during company audit.
  • Monitor, update and maintain Asset inventory and refresh hardware.
  • Manage Active Directory services including but not limited to DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and Certificate services.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor procedures for server backups to ensure data integrity is preserved.
  • Document all technical issues, fixes and resolution in a timely manner
  • Manage all wintel servers and network equipment maintenance contracts to ensure completeness of coverage.
  • Any other tasks and / or duties assigned by IT Manager.
  • Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Computer Studies / Information Technology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Engineer / Support Engineer role.
  • Competency in supporting, diagnosing, troubleshooting computer system, software and networking issues on PCs and related equipment
  • Competent in Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Competent in Windows Servers (Windows 2012 / 2016 / 2019)
  • Competent in Enterprise Antivirus Software (Sophos)
  • Competent in Active Directory and Group Policies Management.
  • MS Exchange or Office 365 support experience
  • VMWare or Hyper-V support experience
  • Printer Administration support experience
  • MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience a huge plus
  • Azure Active Directory experience will be a plus.
  • Workplace / Endpoint Management experience will be a plus
  • Excellent people skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
