Position Overview

The IT Infrastructure Transformation Director for Bottling Investment Group will be responsible for the leadership, direction and transformation of Coca-Cola’s infrastructure across a universe of 31,000 users (own and contract), 56 manufacturing plants and 100 + locations.

Scope includes workplace technology, networks, distributed systems, Data center, Cloud operations, SAP infrastructure and IT operational support.

The individual will be expected to lead the modernization of operating platforms and procedures, and to align the group technology strategy with the global technology towers.

In this capacity, he / she will also work with key business stakeholders to drive demand management and capacity planning for the infrastructure.

Successful relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as external partners are critical; as is the ability to retain, develop and attract a high performing team.

Current IT capital spend for BIG on IT Infrastructure is to the tune of USD 9 Million; the strategic goal of this role to transition to IT services model and reduce capital spend.

Team Structure

The role will report to the Global Head of IT Operations, with dotted line reporting into the BIG CIO. There are 2 positions reporting into this role solid line and 10 in market CTO’s with dotted line relationship.

The organization is in the process of consolidating the operations and hence over a period the goal is to have a harmonized team.

Strategic Technology Leadership

Work closely with the BIG CIO to lead the setup of for best in class IT services across all BIG bottler landscape, through setting up of cost-efficient service models for IT Infrastructure operations and support.

The role will be responsible for designing the underlying principles, technology platforms and the approach to achieve the stable and forward-looking IT Infrastructure foundation.

The individual will be responsible for developing and communicating the delivery strategy and operating models, designing processes, roles and responsibilities in line with the standard industry ITSM guidelines.

This role will be constantly assessing new platforms, services and standards for BIG landscape, acting as a liaison between BIG and Corporate IT Operations / Engineering teams.

Some of the key programs this person will be driving are :

Drive IT Infrastructure strategy approach and migration from Legacy SAP to S4 HANA and MS Dynamics Re-engineer Network Design and Services Network as Service, Network architecture for Industrial IoT Set up BIG Ticketing tool - define standard classifications and integrate operations from disparate systems Drive architecture and implementation of Collaboration technologies across federated domains Implementation of IoT / HMI interface-based technologies for plant automation Drive virtualization and improvement opportunities in storage management Accountable for architecture for all markets across BIG

Service and Operational Excellence

Establish framework to define, design and implement best service capability and service monitoring models both at bottler and Group IT level.

The role will be responsible for leading the delivery of aggregated / shared services across the bottlers and providing thought leadership and guidance to the bottling groups for federated IT services.

This role will design and implement short terms and long-term plans to ensure high availability and reliability of IT services to meet the existing and future requirements.

This role will work with Bottler IT Infrastructure teams and Business stakeholders to drive improvement programs and drive operational excellence. Examples include :

Drive standardization and aggregate Infrastructure Management Processes Network, Server, Storage & End User Services Standardize the tools and solutions for End User Services and Desk Side Support Drive processes for Enterprise Asset Management, Software Licenses and regular updates Set up and drive metrics of IT Infrastructure Performance Measurement

Program Management

Lead the program management of the IT Infrastructure transformational initiatives. As a part of the transformation initiatives, the person will be required to have a strong understanding of the ecosystem of outsourcing vendors / local services vendors in BIG geographies (currently Asia Pacific and Middle East) for deployment of various technology solutions across the bottler CIOs, anticipating any potential disruption to the business operations and driving a sharp operational focus on the risk management during deployment or migration.

The incumbent will be expected to work in tight timelines and limited resources.

Vendor Management

Anchor the IT Service Management at BIG in close partnership with strategic IT vendors to provide the robust support to in country IT operations.

This role will work closely with country IT operations managers to provide the oversight, guidance and recommendations to optimize and improve : Drive Vendor Sourcing Strategy for IT Infrastructure Operations & Engineering Work with global partners and drive local execution in the region

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Create a deployment plan for transition to cloud, factoring in costs, operational efficiencies and scalability

Partner with The Coca-Cola Company IT / Integrated Services Corporate teams to ensure regional alignment to global strategy

Establish and set up Architecture Review Board for BIG

Processes and Governance for Enterprise Asset Management, Software Licenses and Upgrades

Framework for virtualization of resources and streamline server management processes

Standardize the tools for End User Services and Desk Side Support

IT Infrastructure Performance Metrics for BIG across all markets

Standardization of Network Operations Management

Expectations from the Candidate

The role anchors on bringing in the thought leadership, architecting and driving change in BIG.

Working with multiple stakeholders with diverse interests and driving an aligned agenda will be the expectation from this role

The person should have INITIATED and LED the transformations as a prior experience

Clear articulation verbal and written and capability to cut through the noise and real content

The person should be a team player and should be able to win the trust of the team members, peers and stakeholders

The successful candidate should have led the transformations through influencing skills’ as against leveraging only the conventional command and control’ mindset

The candidate should be bold and be able to drive the IT Infrastructure agenda independently

Required Qualification

University / Bachelor’s Degree / Postgraduate / Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering or related field

17+ years in leading IT & Digital initiatives in CPG / FMCG organization across multiple geographies.

Comfortable working in matrix environment.

Leading teams across different cultures, geographies remote and on site

Other Certifications : Network and Telecoms, IT Security, Microsoft Servers and MSSQL, Data Center Operations, Storage and Backup
