Job Scope

  • Project set-up, administration and user support for PDMS / E3D and maintaining E3D model for full engineering life of a project.
  • Interact directly with users / discipline leads and document requirements and special needs related to project designs and needs.
  • Supervise a team of designers, Develop 3D modelling procedure and ensure the requirements are followed by users so that the resultant 3D model is consistent, easy to navigate and clash free.
  • Review and report job progress and cost reports regarding engineering activities, identification of increase or reduction in scope, raising the necessary support documents for Project Control Purposes
  • Create and update Catalogue & Specification for Piping, Structural, Electrical & Instrumentation items based on vendor data.
  • Update model review files in NAVIS WORKS format on daily basis and copy them to project server for the use of all discipline engineers.
  • Customize system and writing macros as per project needs and for further checking the quality of E3D outputs.
  • Requirements

  • Diploma in any engineering discipline
  • Min 10 years’ experience in detailed knowledge of piping & Pipe support with knowledge of other disciplines (Electrical, Instrument, Mechanical and Structural) with 3D modeling & drafting experience.
  • Strong knowledge in E3D / PDMS Administration with PML
  • Familiar in other software like AutoCAD, Navisworks, Caesar & Microsoft office, SQL, Oracle and C / C# .NET programming would be advantage
